A message from the campus:
West Chester University is currently accepting first year and transfer applications for fall 2017.
If additional information is needed to finalize an admissions decision, the Office of Admissions will send an email request to the email address provided on the application. The review of an application will resume once the requested information is received. Please note – WCU does not require applicants to use a code when applying with a fee waiver.
The Office of Admissions reserves the right to withdraw an application if the required information to complete the file is not received.
West Chester University is now offering transfer students the opportunity to study the RN to BSN Nursing program (transfers only) and Social Work (transfers only; fall only) in Philadelphia. *Please note, these programs are offered to all students on the West Chester campus.

Special Program Notes- All Applicants
Elective Social Studies Certification
Applicants who wish to teach social studies at the secondary education level may pursue teaching certification in combination with any of the following BA degree programs: geography, history, or political science.
Elective Language and Cultures Certification
Applicants who wish to receive a language and cultures certification may pursue a PA K-12 Certification in combination with the Languages and Cultures BA degree in any one of the following areas: French, German, Russian, or Spanish.
Pre-Med, Pharmaceutical Product Development and Respiratory Care require an interview as part of the admission process. School of Music requires an audition. Studio Art requires a portfolio review. Applicants to these programs of study are encouraged to apply early.

The Annual Campus Crime Security Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on-campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by West Chester University, and on public property within the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security.
